Mentoring at Amachi is strengths-based and youth-focused — designed to help young people identify and build assets while developing the self-assurance to lead healthy, successful lives. Step up as a role model for a child affected by parental incarceration.
Mentor Requirements
- Commit to a minimum of one year with a mentee
- Meet for a minimum of four hours per month
- Be at least 18 years old
- Reside in Western Pennsylvania
- Pass PA Background Check, Non-Educational FBI Clearance, NSOR, and PA Child Abuse clearances
- Complete additional screening and adhere to all program policies
